In this collection of 11 essays, including the Introduction, A. Samad Said's literary works are examined and discussed from various perspectives and within a number of conceptual frameworks by eight prominent scholars and literary researchers. The conceptual frameworks include naturalism, postmodernism, intertextuality and the aesthetic Theory of Rasa.

The interpretations of A. Samad Said's works in this collection attempt to establish the connection between their meanings with life and humanity as a whole.
