This book shares behind-the-scene stories of the emergence of leading retailcompanies in Malaysia. Several interviews were conducted which result in a fewremarkable stories of different industries with their very own challenges, survivalstrategies and impactful outcomes. For example, Malaysia's leading newspaper andmagazine printing company, Karangkraf Media Group, took 39 years to stabilize inthe business world. This shows that entrepreneurs, who are involved in the rat raceof the business world, need to be more proactive in dealing with environmental andtechnological changes to keep pace with the challenging demand. Therefore, it ishoped that this book can be a meaningful and practical guide to existing companiesin Malaysia old or new in order to be a guideline for success in their endeavour toachieve local and global success
